Aiming at a joint effort to conduct our business in a way that promotes aclean, safe and healthy environment, a TAMTEX®  in partnership with TEIJIN ARAMID we are in a global initiative that seeks reduce 4kg in CO2 emissions equivalent to each 1kg of aramid produced.

GREEN SEAL AND CERTIFICATE OF SUSTAINABLE COMMITMENT

By managing the aramid waste from the ballistic vests we received, TAMTEX issued a certificate of global commitment to CO2 reduction to our partners, proving the correct management of expired products.

  • What is done with expired vests delivered to TAMTEX?
    Upon receiving expired vests from our partners, TAMTEX separates the cover from the ballistic panel, destroying the cover and the panel is subjected to processing, where its waste is sent to TEIJIN ARAMID in the Netherlands for sustainable treatment. See some photos of this process:
  • Why choose TAMTEX to destroy my expired vests?
    TAMTEX partners who, when sending expired vests to us, receive a certificate of global commitment to reducing CO2, proving the correct management of expired products and participation in international sustainability policies .
  • Who does and where does the destruction take place?
    The process is carried out at TAMTEX headquarters in Americana/SP with supervision and certification from the Federal Police.
  • What are the destruction deadlines?
    Up to 30 days as scheduled by the Federal Police for monitoring.
  • What is the deadline for sending the destruction form?
    Up to 10 business days after destruction.
